Explore Our Meeting Pod Ranges

Our three core meeting pod families offer different shapes, styling and price points while allowing the specification to be adapted around the project.

The Qube Pod

The Qube is our more angular, squared-off meeting pod system and provides the most budget-conscious starting point within our three core ranges.

Its clean geometric form suits a wide variety of workplace interiors and can be specified in open, enclosed and other project-specific configurations.

The Loop Pod

A softer, curved meeting pod designed to create a welcoming enclosed area within open-plan workplaces. Loop works particularly well where a more rounded, less architectural appearance is preferred.

Available in a choice of configurations and upholstery finishes, with project-specific sizes also available.

The Nook Pod

The Nook combines a more architectural external form with a distinctive curved internal seating area, creating a defined workplace meeting space with a strong design identity.

Configurations can be developed around the required size, seating layout, finish and level of enclosure.

Meeting Pod Configurations

The right office pod depends on how the space will be used. Alongside the choice between Loop, Nook and Qube, we can offer different levels of enclosure, seating arrangements and pod sizes.

Glass-Fronted & Enclosed Meeting Pods

For workplaces requiring greater separation, selected configurations can be supplied as enclosed meeting pods incorporating a glazed front or door.

An enclosed office pod can be particularly useful for:

The combination of upholstered acoustic surfaces and a glazed enclosure creates a more private internal environment while allowing light and visibility through the workplace.

Single Person Office Pods

Compact one-person office pods provide somewhere to step away from the wider workplace for concentrated individual tasks. They can be used as private spaces for:

Single pods can be particularly useful in open-plan offices and shared workplaces where users need temporary privacy without occupying a larger meeting room.

Open and more enclosed configurations are available depending on the selected pod range and project requirements.

Larger Meeting Pods

For collaborative work and small group meetings, the Loop, Nook and Qube systems can also be configured as larger office meeting booths.

Different layouts can be developed for 8+ person configurations, with seating, table dimensions and overall pod size selected around the intended use.

Because our pods are manufactured to order, larger or project-specific configurations can also be discussed where a standard advertised size does not suit the available space.

Choosing the Right Office Meeting Pod

There is no single pod configuration that is right for every workplace. We normally recommend starting with how the space needs to function.

Choose an open pod when:
Easy access, informal collaboration and visual connection with the surrounding workplace are priorities.
Choose an enclosed or glazed pod when:
Greater privacy and separation are required for meetings, calls or concentrated work.
Choose a single-person pod when:
The main requirement is individual focused work, telephone calls or video conferencing.
Choose a larger meeting pod when:
The space needs to accommodate several colleagues around a table for meetings or collaborative work.

Commercial Meeting Pods for Offices & Contract Interiors

HCF meeting pods are designed specifically for commercial workplaces and contract interiors, from open-plan offices and corporate headquarters to coworking spaces, universities, libraries and public-sector environments.

Commercial applications for office meeting pods and acoustic booths

They can be used to create dedicated spaces for meetings, collaboration, focused work and private calls without relying solely on traditional built meeting rooms. Different pod styles and levels of enclosure also allow designers to introduce private working areas while keeping them visually integrated with the wider interior.

For architects, interior designers, workplace consultants and fit-out contractors, we can work around the wider furniture and space-planning specification, including dimensions, finishes, layouts and project-specific requirements.

Meeting Pod Sizes & Bespoke Configurations

Choosing the right pod is about more than seating capacity. The available floor space, intended use, level of privacy and surrounding workplace layout all influence the most appropriate configuration.

Loop, Nook and Qube are available in a range of standard sizes, covering compact individual spaces through to larger meeting pods for group use. However, because our pods are manufactured to order in Britain, we are not restricted to the dimensions shown online.

Where required, we can discuss bespoke dimensions and configurations to better suit a particular floor plan, seating requirement or workplace layout.

When specifying a pod, it is worth considering:

Exact sizes and practical configuration limits vary between the Loop, Nook and Qube ranges.

POWERED FOR PRODUCTIVITY

Power, Lighting & Technology Options

Meeting pods are increasingly used for Teams calls, video conferencing and hybrid meetings, so technology requirements are best considered as part of the initial specification.

Depending on the pod and configuration, we can discuss options including integrated power, USB or device charging, lighting, cable management and screen or monitor mounting. Table-mounted power can also be considered where appropriate.

This allows the internal setup to be planned around how the pod will actually be used rather than treating power and technology as an afterthought.

DESIGNED YOUR WAY

Meeting Pod Fabrics, Upholstery & Colour Options

The upholstery specification plays a major part in how a meeting pod sits within the wider interior. Colours can be selected to coordinate with an existing workplace scheme, complement brand colours or introduce a contrasting feature within an open-plan environment.

HCF offers a wide choice of contract upholstery, with three ranges we regularly recommend as useful starting points.

amira Main Line Flax woven upholstery fabric texture sample

Camira Main Line Flax

One of our preferred premium fabric choices for meeting pods where a softer, more tactile and design-led finish is required.

Its broad colour selection works particularly well on upholstered pod structures, allowing subtle neutral schemes as well as stronger contrasting combinations between the internal and external surfaces.

Blue Camira Xtreme commercial upholstery fabric texture sample

Camira Xtreme

Camira Xtreme is one of our main go-to upholstery fabrics for commercial and workplace projects. It offers a large selection of colours and is a practical choice where customers want a versatile contract fabric suitable for a busy commercial setting.

It can also make specifying matching or complementary seating elsewhere within a workplace scheme considerably easier.

Green Valencia C5 faux leather upholstery texture sample

Valencia C5 Faux Leather

For projects where a more practical, wipeable finish is preferred, Valencia C5 faux leather is our recommended starting point.

It can work particularly well within higher-use workplace, education and hospitality environments where routine cleaning is an important consideration, while still offering a wide choice of colours for the finished pod.

What Is an Acoustic Meeting Pod?

An acoustic meeting pod is a piece of workplace furniture designed to create a more defined area for meetings, calls, collaboration or focused work within a larger commercial interior.

The surrounding upholstered surfaces help absorb sound and reduce some of the distraction associated with working in an open-plan environment, while the pod itself creates a clearer sense of separation from the surrounding workplace.

Different designs provide different levels of privacy. Open-fronted pods remain connected to the wider office, while enclosed and glazed configurations create a more separated internal space.

It is important to distinguish acoustic privacy from complete soundproofing. Unless a specific tested acoustic performance is supplied for a product, an acoustic office pod should not be treated as a fully soundproof room.

Meeting Pods vs Traditional Meeting Rooms

Both meeting pods and traditional meeting rooms can provide dedicated spaces for collaboration, but they form part of the workplace in different ways.

A meeting pod can be introduced into an existing office as part of the furniture and interior specification, creating a defined meeting or working space without necessarily constructing another permanent room. This can make pods particularly useful within large open-plan offices where additional areas for meetings, calls and focused work are required.

They can also give workplace designers more flexibility over where these spaces are positioned and, depending on the product and installation, how the office can be reconfigured in future.

A conventional constructed meeting room may still be more appropriate where a project requires permanent walls, building-integrated services or a particular level of tested acoustic isolation.

For many offices, the most effective solution is not necessarily one or the other. A combination of traditional meeting rooms, open meeting pods and smaller private booths can provide different spaces for different types of work.

Made In the UK Flag

Made in Britain & Made to Order

Our Loop, Nook and Qube pods are manufactured in Britain for commercial furniture projects.

Rather than simply supplying a fixed imported product in a limited number of finishes, manufacturing to order gives us greater flexibility to develop the specification around the project.

This can include adjustments to dimensions, upholstery and colour combinations, seating layouts, tables, quantities and selected power or technology requirements.

Our team works with businesses, architects, interior designers, workplace consultants and fit-out companies throughout the specification process, from an initial individual pod through to larger commercial furniture schemes.

Delivery and installation requirements can also be discussed as part of the project.

Loop Acoustic Meeting Pod FAQs

What is an office meeting pod?
An office meeting pod is a freestanding or semi-enclosed workplace furniture solution that creates a defined space for meetings, collaboration, calls or focused work. They range from compact single-person office pods through to larger meeting booths for several users.
Are acoustic meeting pods soundproof?
Not necessarily. Upholstered and sound-absorbing construction can help reduce surrounding workplace distraction and improve acoustic privacy, but this is different from complete soundproofing. The level of acoustic separation varies according to the pod design and whether it is open or fully enclosed.
Do you offer enclosed meeting pods?

Yes. Loop, Nook and Qube configurations are available as more enclosed meeting pods, including glazed or glass-fronted options.

Can meeting pods have glass doors?
Enclosed pod configurations can incorporate a glazed front and door, creating greater separation from the surrounding office while retaining natural light and visibility.
Do you offer single-person office pods?
Yes. Compact single-person pods are available for focused work, telephone calls, Teams and Zoom meetings, video conferencing and other tasks where an individual needs greater privacy within the workplace.
How many people can use a meeting pod?
This depends on the selected range and pod dimensions. Our collection includes single-person options as well as larger configurations for small-group meetings and collaborative work.
Can you manufacture a bespoke-size meeting pod?
Yes. HCF pods are manufactured to order in Britain, so we are not limited solely to the standard dimensions advertised online. Bespoke dimensions can be discussed where a project requires a different footprint, subject to the practical construction requirements of the selected design.
Can meeting pods include power and USB charging?
Power and charging can be incorporated into selected configurations. The most appropriate arrangement can be discussed according to the table layout, number of users and intended use of the pod.
Can a TV or monitor be fitted inside a meeting pod?
A screen or monitor can be incorporated into suitable pod configurations for presentations, hybrid meetings and video conferencing. Screen size, mounting position, power supply and cable routing should be considered during the specification stage.
Are office pods suitable for Teams and Zoom calls?
Yes. Single-person and enclosed office pods can provide a more private environment for Teams, Zoom and other video calls, particularly within busy open-plan workplaces.
What fabrics are available for meeting pods?
We offer a wide selection of contract upholstery. Camira Main Line Flax is one of our preferred premium fabric choices, Camira Xtreme is one of our main commercial go-to options, and Valencia C5 is our recommended starting point where a wipeable faux leather finish is preferred.
Can I specify different colours inside and outside the pod?
Different upholstery colours and combinations can be discussed depending on the chosen pod. This can be used to create a subtle coordinated finish or a stronger contrast between the exterior and internal seating area.
Are meeting pods suitable for open-plan offices?
Yes. Open-plan workplaces are one of the main applications for meeting pods. They can introduce defined areas for meetings, collaboration, private calls and focused work without every activity relying on a conventional meeting room.
Do you deliver and install meeting pods throughout the UK?
HCF can arrange delivery and discuss installation requirements for commercial projects.
How long do meeting pods take to manufacture?

Manufacturing lead times vary according to the product, quantity, upholstery and current production schedule. If you are working to a specific programme, speak to our team early in the project so we can confirm the current lead time.
